The Town of Midland lowered the flags for the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S).
Annually on May 5, we honour and remember the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People within our community and across Canada.
As a community, it is essential to raise awareness, advocate for justice, and take action to address the root causes of the ongoing violence and barriers against Indigenous peoples.

The North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre will be closed on Friday, May 2, 2025 until 2:00 p.m. for annual scheduled maintenance.
