Why: To allow the construction of a new dwelling on the waterfront side of the property.

Road Closures:
- Dominion – between Eighth St. and Margaret St.
- Cavana – between Bay St. and Dominion Ave.
Detours:
Cavana: local traffic only, access via Bay St. only
Dominion: Westbound: Eighth St. to Montreal St., then to Margaret St. returning back to Dominion Ave. (Reverse for Eastbound)
Emergency Vehicle Access:
- Cavana St. access via Bay St.
- Dominion Ave (807 and higher) between Margaret St....

- Mid-Pen Transit - no service on Monday, February 17
- NSSRC - open regular hours on Monday, February 17

The Significant Weather Event has been lifted as of 4:00 p.m., March 12, 2025. The Operations team has completed snow cleanup on Town roads to comply with the Province's Minimum Maintenance Standards. See the update.
