Whereas, Celebrated annually on March 8th, International Women’s day has occurred for well over a century, with the first gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, International Women’s Day belongs to all groups collectively everywhere; and

Whereas, Today is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality; and

What is the Southern Georgian Bay O.P.P. Detachment Board?

The Southern Georgian Bay O.P.P. Detachment Board is a new board created based on the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019. 

The Board will be responsible for completing mandatory board training, oversight of the O.P.P....
