What happened to Municipal Parking Lot 7?
Municipal Parking Lot 7, located at 526 Bay St., is now private property and is no longer a municipal parking lot.
Where can I park?There are many options for free and paid on-street convenient parking located in our downtown core. Check out our Downtown Parking map to see all available and accessible parking locations. Visit our Parking page for more.

It is with great sorrow that the Town of Midland has lowered all flags at Municipal buildings to half-mast in memory of Deputy Mayor Jack Contin. Deputy Mayor Contin passed away suddenly in the early hours of November 9, 2023. Our hearts are with his family, friends, colleagues and the rest of our community.

Remembrance Day Closure - November 13, 2023

Municipal Closures observing Remembrance Day
- The Town of Midland Municipal office will be closed Monday, November 13, 2023. Regular hours will return Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 8:30am.
- No interruptions to the Mid-Pen Transit Service. Transit will be running on Saturday, November 11 and Monday, November 13.
For after-hour emergencies related to water, sewer or roads please call 705-527-8274.
Flag Lowering - Indigenous Veterans Day

The flags at Town Hall have been lowered to half-mast for Indigenous Veterans Day. Every year on November 8, we honour the immeasurable contributions and sacrifices made by First Nations, Inuit and Métis veterans.
Indigenous Veterans Day is a solemn occasion to recognize the unwavering courage and resilience exhibited by Indigenous service members.
Today we reflect on the profound impact of their service and express our deepest gratitude for their continued selfless commitment.
