The Towns of Midland and Penetanguishene are nearing completion of the review of the joint Request for Proposals for the provision of a microtransit system for both municipalities.

The street signals at the intersection of Yonge Street and Eighth Street are fully operational, and the Mid-Pen Transit Midland route will no longer detour off of Yonge Street.

Due to current weather conditions, Mid–Pen transit routes are experiencing delays today.

The Penetanguishene transit route is currently delayed by 1 to 1.5 hours due to staffing issues. The bus should resume its normal route and schedule by 1:30pm today.
