Temporary Road Closure - Harbourview Drive and Fuller Avenue

Where: Road closure on Harbourview Dr and Fuller Ave, closed at Everton Rd and Centennial Dr.

When: Today, June 17, 2025 starting at 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Why: Midland Fire Department training exercise. 

Suggested Detour:

• From Harbourview Dr turn onto Centennial Dr then Everton Rd continue to Fuller Ave. 
• From Fuller Ave turn onto Everton Rd then Centennial Dr continue to Harbourview Dr. 

Other Information: 

• Open to local traffic, no driveways will be blocked.

Temporary Road Closure - King St (and surrounding)

Temporary Road Closures 

King Street and side roads will be closing today at 5:00 p.m. in preparation for Ontario's Best Butter Tart Festival presented by Chapmans.  

When: Friday, June 13, 2025 - Saturday, June 14, 2025. Closing Friday at 5:00 p.m. and re-opening Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

• King Street from Yonge Street to Bayshore Drive
• Elizabeth Street from First Street to Midland Avenue
• Hugel Avenue from Borsa Laneway to Midland Avenue

Temporary Office Closure - June 18, 2025

The municipal office will be closed on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for a staff appreciation event. The office will be open Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. 

Midland's Recreation Centre, Harbour office and Mid-Pen Transit Service will not be affected by this closure.

Mid-Pen Transit Service Update

Correction: For Thursday, June 12, 2025, all Mid-Pen Transit routes will run as regularly scheduled.

What: Lawn area closed during construction period - open the construction map.

When: Starting June, 9 to August 2025.
