Upcoming sidewalk construction in Midland

Sidewalk projects will take place in July and August on the following sidewalks around Town:
- Midland Avenue (West side) - from Yonge Street to Hugel Avenue
- First Street (West side) - from Yonge Street to Hugel Avenue
- Fifth Street (East side) - from Quebec Street to Victoria Street
- Sixth Street (East side) - spot repairs only from Victoria Street to Vindin Street
- Dominion Avenue (North side) - from Fourth Street to Fifth Street
- Jones Road (East side) - section between Highway 12 and Prospect Boulevard

Extreme Heat - Cooling Centres in Midland

Staying cool during a heat wave can be tough. The Town of Midland has two areas where people are welcome to visit for relief from the heat and humidity.
Each location has a water fountain, water bottle refill station, public washrooms, and public seating areas.
Where to goMidland Public Library (320 King Street)
- Monday: 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Tuesday to Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sunday: closed
