New Pedestrian Crossovers on William St

Pedestrians and vehicles will now encounter two new signalized pedestrian crossovers on William Street. Cross safely at the intersections of William Street and Scott Street and at William Street and Elizabeth Street.
Everyone has a role in making our roads safe. The addition of pedestrian crossovers provides safety for those crossing the road, as well as lessening the severity and frequency of collisions.

- Mid-Pen Transit - no service on Monday, February 19.
- NSSRC - open regular hours on Monday, February 19.

Midland Declares Council Vacancy to be filled by Appointment
For Immediate Release
(February 15, 2024, Midland ON) Councillor Beth Prost was sworn in as Deputy Mayor on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, and a Council vacancy was declared at the same meeting to fill the vacant Councillor seat.
Legislation requires that Council must fill the vacancy within 60 days of the declaration. The Clerk was authorized to request applications from interested persons by a call for nominations....
