The flags at the Midland Municipal Office are lowered in observance of National Veterans’ Week and Remembrance Day 2025. Mayor Bill Gordon has proclaimed November 5 to 11, 2025, as “Veterans’ Week” in the Town of Midland:

Where: King Street from Colborne Street to Hannah Street.
When: Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Road closure for Remembrance Day ParadeWhere: Rolling closures along King Street from Hannah Street to Bay Street.
When: Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 11:50 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Municipal Office Opening Late on November 14, 2025

The Midland Municipal Office, located at 575 Dominion Avenue, will operate reduced hours on Friday, November 14, to accommodate a staff event. The office will be open for the day from 11am to 4:30pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
While the municipal office will be closed, please note online services are available to:
- pay property taxes
- pay water and sewer bills
- complete application forms
- request non-emergency service

The flags were lowered in observance of Indigenous Veterans Day at 10:30am today, November 8. Mayor Bill Gordon has proclaimed November 8, 2025, as “Indigenous Veterans Day” in the Town of Midland:

On Tuesday, November 11, the Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place at the Midland Cenotaph starting at 10:45am, followed by a parade from the North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre to the Midland Legion. See route planning and road closures map.
