"Do You Remember When?" Video Project
Everyone has a story.
The "Do You Remember When?" video project, which recently completed a third series, captures stories of the area as told by seniors and elders in the communities of Midland, Penetanguishene, Tiny, and Tay. Through interviews with longtime residents conducted by senior community volunteers, we've capture memories of local landmarks, events, and everyday life in North Simcoe. These short videos help preserve our shared heritage and invite the community to reminisce, reflect, and connect.
Through their candid recollections, these local storytellers provide invaluable insights into the rich history and culture of our communities.
"It's making history come alive."
–Jamie Hunter, Interviewer
